The Rail Adapter is a lightweight durable coupling that mounts to a skateboard’s rear truck to improve its performance with a Surf Adapter or surf-style truck already on the front. The Rail Adapter lets your skateboard or longboard’s rear truck lean as hard as the front truck can with the Surf Adapter. The combination of the two creats a buttery smooth ride that can outperform any other carving board or surf skate! Your deck will lean deeply into turns flow seamlessly from rail to rail, winding surf-style turns. What board works best with the Surf & Rail Adapter?
Whatever board you’re most comfortable with. The deck shape that your feet are used to standing on, and the wheels that you know the limit of grip of are going to be the best fit for you. It all comes down to your personal preferences and skating style. Having said that, park wheels with a high duro aren’t a great fit because the low speed grip just isn’t there. Also, most people loosen up their trucks a bit when they start using the Surf Adapter. The adapter uses the new school bolt pattern for the truck mounting surface and can mount to a new or old school deck.
